Wes Salem understands first-hand the advantages and challenges that come with owning a business. He opened his first business after graduating from college in 1990. Since then, he has run multiple businesses and assisted hundreds of clients in making their business dream a reality.
Salem began his accounting career in April 1994 with a San Diego firm. In 1999, Salem joined Cashuk, Wiseman, Goldberg, & Birnbaum, as a staff accountant. He became full partner in only 3 years.
In addition to strategic tax planning, Salem's concentration is in small business and the retail industry. Salem assisted clients in understanding every aspect of their business including their insurance, financing and accounting needs.
Salem received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University in 1990. He earned his CPA certification in 2000. He has been a member of the California Society of CPAs since 2000.
Salem has been recognized for his work with various non-profit organizations. He is also an active member of his church and the Chaldean community.
He is a 15 year member of the Tae Kwon Do Federation and is a 2nd Degree Black Belt. Salem is fluent in Chaldean and Arabic.
